Sound ironic? It is, we're not really "hating" hate, but trying to make a point about how hate is the most ugly thing in this world.

Don't ignore hate

Stand up against hate, if you see ugly hate on a wiki comment, or of someone sends it to you in a message, speak out against it. Don't let your silence imply your agreement! It doesn't have to turn into a fight, if nothing else you can simply say, "Your hateful comments are making me uncomfortable."

This wiki page is a place for open and free discussion for all to talk about hate and any other remotely related issues. (especially for people who don't agree)

Welcome to all!

2006-07-31 [Bookwyrm]: XD No it hand nothing to do with un-anything. XD

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: inhaling! imparting? annihilating? Tell me it at least sounded similar :P

2006-07-31 [Bookwyrm]: XD I just remembered...umbilical. XD

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: Ummm..... that doesn't sound similar at all >_> You kind of left me out in the open with that one. But now I see how your mind works I believe we are ready for round two :)

2006-07-31 [Bookwyrm]: XD I told you that it wasn't similar to un-hating. It was just the formation of the letters that made me think of it.

2006-07-31 [*Suicidal Cupcake*]: it is rather random. hehe, i like that word *dances around whilst singing 'random'*

2006-07-31 [HowlofDoom]: Hello everbody

2006-07-31 [HowlofDoom]: lol... I guess...

2006-07-31 [*Suicidal Cupcake*]: cool

2006-07-31 [HowlofDoom]: yupz...

2006-08-03 [~*Astarte*~]: Sunday August 6 is Worldwide Forgiveness Day! http://www.forgivenessday.org/

2006-08-03 [zoloftzantac]: hmm ... I guess it is about time I forgave Ronald Reagan for the Bush Dynasty. I mean, it wasn't really his fault, and he is very dead by now anyway ...

2006-08-03 [RabidSphinx]: i like/ed Reagan. he was a good man.

2006-08-04 [Savage_Reality]: I wasnt a fan of Reagan either. lol.

2006-08-06 [Bookwyrm]: Welcome [Mikuru Asahina]! ::offers cookies:: Thank you for joining I Hate Hate, [zoloftzantac] will probably give you a more formal greeting when he's online. ^-^ Glad to have a new member, and you're our 50th member too! ^-^

2006-08-06 [*Suicidal Cupcake*]: yay a new member *huggles* its nice to have someone new to talk to!! no offence to you guys *looks at [Bookwyrm]*

2006-08-06 [L V F]: -sits back and sighs-

2006-08-07 [zoloftzantac]: Welcome to our newest member, [Mikuru Asahina]! (thanks [Bookwyrm]) Please play nice with others here and make yourself comfortable ;)

2006-08-07 [kittykittykitty]: ^__^ *waves to the new member*

2006-08-07 [Bookwyrm]: You're welcome zoloft. ^-^ I was just online first. ^-^

2006-08-07 [HowlofDoom]: a new member? WELCOME yay

2006-08-10 [Bookwyrm]: Yay! Welcome [FireGypsy]! ^_^ Thank you for joining I Hate Hate. ^_^ Glad to have you.

2006-08-12 [zoloftzantac]: Welcome to [FireGypsy]! As a friendly reminder, this is a safe zone. That means that we all need to make an effort to be respectufl to everyone here, all of the time. Welcome!

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: see how well that works out...

2006-08-12 [zoloftzantac]: I know it is a challenge for some of us to be respectful to others ... and I know you and [FireGypsy] have been fighting lately.

Maybe this safe zone can be a safe place for you to speak respectfully to each other and resolve this conflict.

If you two need to fight, you will need to do it elsewhere.

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: i like jello
i'm on a new diet.
the jello diet.
i eat almost exclusively jello.
yum.
sugar free of course.

2006-08-12 [zoloftzantac]: jello diet? is that like a fruit juice diet then? I mean, does jello have any nutritional value at all?

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: 20 calories for a whole box of sugar free jello, and no fats…that's all i care about.. ^_^ and gelatin is good for your nails.. ^_^
i mix in some fruit and eat some raw veggies for fiber, and some lean proteins, (like skinless chicken breast)..... and i will talk to my doctor if i'm allowed to take vitamins, diet pills, and energy drinks...or take them anyways even if i'm not allowed but at least find out the hazards.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Hazards of putting your body to an unecessary effort by making it work without giving it proper fuel? Oh, probably none at all...

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: i have plenty of fuel in my fat reserves...my body could survive off my ass for 8 months alone.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Go on then.Try. I'll sit back, relax, and see what happens. I'm not stopping you at all.

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: glad that you are not trying to "stop" me because i wouldn't listen to YOU anyways. well, i was told no vitamins a few years ago and i wanted to see if that were still true now...and i have heart palpitations so i'm not sure if energy drinks are good for me since i was told some years ago caffeine could kill me...and diet pills might not work with my graves disease...but all worth an ask i suppose. i'm doing the energy drinks and vitamins regardless

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Not that I could stop you with my remote control anyway.

*sits back and gets a very sugared ice cream while watching*

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: icecream is gross.. >_< at least have a brownie if you want to make me wish i could eat something....
i had jello...yum.. ^_^

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: I just felt like having some sugar. You thought it had anything to do with you...?

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: o.o ::pokes gently:: Might I have some ice cream? ^-^ I have Graves disease and heart palps too. No caffiene for me. ^-^ It's not so bad, but I just really miss drinking tea at restraunts.

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: BG- why would I think you were talking to me? Well, other than your otherwise condescending attitude towarss me already that would thusly imply that you were making a dig at me in the second half of your comment, your comment was already directed towards me in the first half...sodon't be a bitch.
well, i don't drink soda, coffee, or tea, so it was never an issue really when they said no...but i want to drink energy drinks, so i don't feel so sluggish and i can actually work out some, but i think the 173497590374x caffeine in them would = bad for my heart...

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: I agree. :( I don't drink soda or coffee, but I luuuurve tea. ^-^ So that was really the only thing that bugged me. ^-^ But now my thyroid should be dead (radioactive iodine treatment! ^_^) so I may be able to drink it again. Have you ever considered having RAI or surgery to remove your thyroid?

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Sure *passes the spoon to [Bookwyrm]*

I haven't had any caffein since I got pregnant. And tea is also the thing I miss the most! Now I have to take warm milk instead. But I always add chocolate :)

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: Hooray! ::enjoys the ice cream muchly:: I used to drink warm milk when I was little, but my mom would put honey in it (it was supposed to help allergies)...it made me sick. To this day I hate honey...

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: i had radiation treatment.

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: Oh really? Did it not work? :(

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: i'm not regulated...they just killed my thyroid, caused me to gain 50lbs!!!, and then started me on some pills that have done shit so far...the fuckers.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: I love honey, I remember my parents used to uy a lot, but never forced us to have it :/

*Pours some honey in her afternoon milk :)*

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: honey is bee barf...i wont eat it

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: Ahhh, ::nods:: I just had my treatment on Tuesday. I hope I don't gain weight. T_T I've been nauseated ever since I came home from the treatment though, so I haven't eaten much. Oh well, I'm not really that worried about it. I like the idea of honey, I always wish I could enjoy it. And it's such a pretty colour, looking fabulous on cakes and things. :( But I just get sick when I eat it.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Yeah, childhood traumas are not fixed so easily. Luckily I have no problems with food. I just sit down and EAT. *gained 23 kg during the last 8 monthes, hehe*

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: XD Food traumas...that's just a funny idea. I never would've thought of it as that.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: Maybe I've had too much psycoanalysis during my childhood... but I tend to think everything's on one's head.

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: wow...50lbs? hahaha...sucks to be you.
sometimes i'm glad i can't have children....

i had my treatment 3 years ago. i went from 93lbs to 130lbs in a month. hope that doesn't happen to you, it was a bitch to loose once i did not have a metabolism anymore. >_<

i can't eat or stand the smell of hotdogs because i got sick as a child eating one...and gingerale makes me vomit because i was always given it when sick.

2006-08-12 [BlindGuardian]: *wonders why poeple likes editing comments, and goes home to make some stew for her boyfriend*

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: ::shakes head:: I gained and lost weight dramatically during my Graves disease problem. When I first got it, I shot from around 80lbs to 120lbs, and then increased in weight constantly until I started my anti-thyroid pills. I was at around 150lbs for a long time, but I've lost 20lbs recently. Oh I love hotdogs T_T even though I know what their made out of, I still eat them. I've never been a fan of gingerale, though...it just tastes odd to me.

2006-08-12 [RabidSphinx]: my highest was 150...*shudders* i will NEVER let myself be that fat again.
i have lost 30lbs and i'm still trucking even though it is getting increasingly more difficut to lose weight past 120.. >_<

2006-08-12 [zoloftzantac]: The problem with normal gingerale is they don't put anywhere near enough ginger in it. If you can get "Cock and Bull Gingerale" or something with a lot of kick give it a try

2006-08-12 [Bookwyrm]: I'll remember that, zoloft. ^_^

2006-08-12 [~*Astarte*~]: I love gingerale! (I love ginger!) [zoloftzantac] can Cock and Bull be purchased at WF?

2006-08-13 [zoloftzantac]: I'm not sure about bulls, I know where you can get some cock though ...

2006-08-13 [zoloftzantac]: Oh my god, hahaha, I couldn't help myself, sorry. I don't know if they have it at Whole Foods, I know Feista Market has it.

2006-08-13 [~*Astarte*~]: Oh my! *laughing* Oh really?! Do tell - inquiring minds want to know... :p Fiesta it is - yummy!

2006-08-14 [kittykittykitty]: *is traumatised by zoloft's comment* x_X

2006-08-14 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: Oh man, I tasted this ginger stuff once and I, like, choked 'cause it was burning my throat, and my brother was making fun of me. :(
It's against my religion to eat hot dog buns, except on fridays. o.o

2006-08-15 [kittykittykitty]: o_0 Just the buns, huh? But you still eat the flesh part of the hot dog?

Most hot dog buns are horrible. They have too much sugar >_>

2006-08-15 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: Yeah. :D I can eat the flesh, but I usually don't eat hot dogs in general.
I actually like the buns because they're soft and fluffy, but yeah, they do have too much sugar.

2006-08-15 [kittykittykitty]: Oh good... :)

I like vegetarian sausages (tasty ones with nicer texture or more interesting flavours) on normal bread buns or just sliced bread. Is that technically a hot dog or does it have to contain a certain type of meat?

2006-08-15 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: o.o I think they have vegetarian hot dogs...

2006-08-16 [zoloftzantac]: Yep, they sell veggie hot dogs around here anyway, but they aren't very good ... the veggie sausages are much better. I like them with horse radish mustard :)

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: The veggie sausages are sooo yummy - especially with hot mustard ^_^

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: Vegan and vegetarian diets are so common here that our local high school has a vegan and vegetarian menu in the cafeteria, as well as vegan and vegetarian options at the sports events snack shack

2006-08-16 [zoloftzantac]: We used to have more vegitarian restraunts, but a few have gone out of business :( I miss Sparks and Chia Boba Chia

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: Have you been to Cafe Gratitude in SF or Berkeley? It's to die for - absolutely yummilicious! The atmosphere in the Berkeley cafe absolutely rocks. ^_^ I get a monthly newsletter from Bay Area Vegan - it list local restaurants and recommendations from those that have tried them. I'll try to remember to forward it to you the next time I get it.

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: *wonders if there is a vegan or vegetarian wiki at EP*

2006-08-16 [zoloftzantac]: Nope, I have never been to Cafe Gratitude, but I remember you meantioned it once. I've been to the Millinium Vegan resteraunt in S.F. but it is too fancy/expensive to go very often.

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: Next time you're in Berkeley - try it - I think you'll like it. There is a vegetarian restaurant (or so I've heard) in Guerneville that's supposed to be good...

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: Regarding Millennium, "Convert A Carnivore - 2nd Wednesday of every month: Bring a Carnivorous Friend into Millennium and you and your friend will receive a 25% discount off your entire bill, excluding alcohol." Cool!

2006-08-16 [~*Astarte*~]: Big bummer - Sparks was the restaurant in Guerneville... :(

2006-08-16 [catelf]: Here, having a vegetarian diet is easy. Being vegan is almost impossible.

2006-08-16 [zoloftzantac]: Being vegan here is very do-able, but I don't think it is easy. The vegans I know still work very hard at it.

2006-08-16 [RabidSphinx]: i eat meat, eggs, fish, and drink milk.....

2006-08-16 [BlindGuardian]: So do I, but I don't go boasting about it :P

My best friend used to be a vegetarian, but later on gave in to milk and cheese. She eventually eats fish too. I guess there isn't enough tasty vegetarian food over here...

2006-08-16 [Bookwyrm]: I'm allergic to soy. x_x

2006-08-17 [zoloftzantac]: I used to be vegetarian, but I loved sushi to much to give it up *poor fishes* :(

2006-08-17 [RabidSphinx]: i used to eat nothing natural...no veggies and no meat....lol...now i eat jello...and salad...and chicken ^_^

2006-08-18 [kittykittykitty]: There are no places to eat in my town that serve vegan food. And only the supermarkets sell soya milk and very few other dairy alternatives >_> I don't even know any other vegetarians. I have tried to rid milk from my diet in the past, but it's very hard to do with no income and unsupportive parents :(

2006-08-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: Same here. If you're vegan in this town you get looked upon as either crazy or Satanic. o.O It's a bit odd...but welcome to Southeast Texas...

2006-08-18 [RabidSphinx]: *shakes head* you do know Humans are Omnivorous right?

2006-08-18 [Bookwyrm]: Yes, I do, but I'd like to be a vegan. I doubt it will happen unless they find away to get rid of food allergies.

2006-08-18 [RabidSphinx]: i do not understand vegitarians and/or vegans...i mean, humans NATURALLY eat meat...why must everyone FIGHT nature?

2006-08-18 [~*Astarte*~]: [Bookwyrm] - have you considered rice or oat milk instead of soy? If I remember correctly, you're allergic to soy and peanuts?

2006-08-18 [RabidSphinx]: you know, humans are the only animals that drink milk all their lives...why don't you just NOT drink milk if milk from a cow is not good enough for you?

2006-08-18 [RabidSphinx]: it's the people that protest on sidewalks that piss me off. don't eat meat if you chose not to, but it is my NATURAL RIGHT to eat meat, and if they get in my way i'll run them over with my car and let the crows eat them...because those horrible evil animals eat meat too...*gasp* lol

2006-08-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: I have, but they don't sell rice or oat milk around here. No I'm not allergic to peanuts thank goodness. ^__^

2006-08-18 [kittykittykitty]: "why must everyone FIGHT nature?"
Are we ready for a biology lesson? :D Humans have long, twisting digestive tracts much like those of out vegetarian primate cousins. It's perfect for breaking down fibrous fruits and vegetables, but it's not so great at rapidly getting rid of meat. So it hangs around to rot and foster the production of cancer-causing chemicals, meaning that eating too much meat can lead to colon cancer :( (as well as other health issues, but I think this one seemed more appropriate to mention :)

For me personally it's not an issue of health or nature. I love animals to much to be responsible for hurting them ^_^

2006-08-18 [RabidSphinx]: Humans also do not have a functioning appendix like herbivores…hmmm…interesting. and looking at our teeth we have both cutting AND grinding teeth…hmmm. EVERYTHING causes cancer today...the sun causes cancer...we should get to putting that damn thing out too before it causes more!

i love animals too. my cats are my whole world. that doesn't stop me from raising goats, swine, and chickens on my farm and killing them, and eating them (but for the swine...i don't eat pork...yuck)

2006-08-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: I read about that somewhere. ^___^ It really makes me want to give up meat, I'd just like to be able to eat tofu in the abscense of it instead of making it a major culture shock and going straight veggie. But I can't eat tofu...

2006-08-19 [kittykittykitty]: Swine = pigs? I'm not familiar with that term.

I think the difference is that I love all animals. I love any cow or chicken or fish as much as I love any dog or cat... OK maybe I'm slightly favoured towards cats, but it doesn't take away the love I have for other species. Even insects I respect, and I don't kill spiders or flies.

Wikipedia tells me that's supposedly the primary function of the appendix is for the immune system, and the only affect it might have on the digestive sytem is to help the of process of digesting raw meat. If as you say, our appendix is not functioning as it does in other species, and that is how our species has evolved, surely this is just an indication of how humans don't need to eat meat at all?

MW I don't know how many vegan friendly products aren't made from Tofu... I guess it would just take some searching to find the right ones for you :) You could ask in any health food stores near you or something...?

2006-08-19 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: I've been searching for a while. I'll have to move out of my grandparents home before I start trying though...they're very...very unsupportive. To the point of shoving meat into my mouth and saying "eat damnit!" ^___^' Fun...

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: yes, swine are pigs.

animals kill each other...humans are just apes. i kill animals and eat them. doesn't mean i don't love my goat. he is a lovely boy. i hate pigs though. the fuckers. and chickens are some of the laziest dumb creatures EVER.

damn, maybe i mentioned the wrong organ...i haven't gone to school in two years. whatever it was i was thinking ablout we have at the end of our large intestine herbivores have but we do not.

2006-08-19 [Bookwyrm]: Chickens are actually very intelligent creatures. I've read up on them quite a bit, and my grandfather raised them for a long time. They're thought process is actually equal to that of an ape.

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: you ever raise them yourself? try to bathe them? the fuckers will drown themselves if you don't practically strangle them to keep their heads above the water. they are lazy too. they don't fucking MOVE! they just sit and sit ann SIT! you have to put their food at one end of the coop and the water at the other otherwise they NEVER GET UP! they get sores on their breast because they shit all over themselves and don't get up and fester.
they are fucking stupid.

2006-08-19 [Bookwyrm]: Yes ma'am.

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: though, goats are retarded too...they hang themselves all the time...>_< pigs are smart, but i hate them....

2006-08-19 [kittykittykitty]: I think you did mention the right organ RD :) What you originally said made sense, I was just offering my opinion on it.

I don't know anything about raising chickens (having never done it of course), but supposedly they have the same level of intellect as some dogs. Mother hens communicate with their young before they are hatched ^_^

I like pigs also :) They are clean animals if left to their own devices, and are super intelligent. They have such expressive faces too ^_^ I would love a pet pig if I ever get the right space for it. George Clooney has a pot-bellied pig that he lets share his bed :O

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: well, i never said dogs are all that smart either...i have met some pretty dumb ones. you know how there are laws about how many cubic inches are required per chicken by law? they are not needed...they will all mass up next to each other and NEVER get yp and all that ends uyp is wasted space for the farmers.

i HATE PIGS! i beat one nearly to death once...the fuckers. they are worthless animals, and i thin potbellies are just UGLY! >_<

2006-08-19 [kittykittykitty]: Why do you have such a dislike of pigs Sarah? I think violence towards any creature is uneccessary, especially animals that are largely defenceless.

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: defenceless? tell that to the 12 pigs that nearly killed me.
i HATE PIGS!
fucking swine.
i wish i HAD killed that pig when i was beating it, except my aunt would have been pissed since each head of Swine costs money and is worth more.
i hate people and they are animals....

2006-08-19 [kittykittykitty]: I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with pigs :( Was this a long time ago or recently? I'm sure they wouldn't attack you for no reason. Maybe they were scared... or were you feeding them or something? (if you don't mind me asking)

I couldn't hold a whole species at fault because of a traumatic experience I had with a dozen of that species. I feel it would be unfair to cast hate, especially where it isn't due

2006-08-19 [RabidSphinx]: they got loose and trampled me.....funny isn't it?

it's due. pigs are disgustiging, ugly, loud, and i hate'em..

2006-08-19 [~*Astarte*~]: I have raised chickens, and didn't have any problems. Ours were free range - they had a coop to go into if they chose (or at night we put them in to protect them from predators)... We had 5 - named them the Yaya Sisters... Very smart - would come to me when I clapped my hands, or called, I could pick them up, carry them around, pet them...

[kittykittykitty] I'm like you... I love animals, and always have. For example: Yesterday, I rescued a little tree frog from the toilet at my workplace... I just couldn't conceive of doing anything that would harm it.

2006-08-19 [Bookwyrm]: Awwww, that's so sweet! Both the chickens and the tree frog. I've always liked chickens, but I'm allergic to their down so I couldn't be around them long without having an asthma attack. I had a duck though. ^___^ His name was Goober. He stayed with my uncle.

That was really sweet. ^___^ I had a frog on the windshield of my car once. I didn't notice until I was on the highway but he stayed on until we got home. Then he hopped off. ^__^ I hope the little thing wasn't traumatized. o.o

2006-08-20 [kittykittykitty]: What was a tree frog doing in the toilet? o_O That seems an odd place to choose to be. I'm happy you managed to rescue him/her ^_^ There would be many people who would have no guilt in just flushing a frog into the sewer :(

2006-08-20 [zoloftzantac]: The lazy fat and stupid chickens that [RabidSphinx] is talking about were bred to have as much breast meat as possable, and as a result they can hardly walk and barely stand up. That isn't natural at all, and neither is all of the anti-biotics that get put into their feed so they don't die from their open sores.

Natural right? There is nothing natural about it.

2006-08-20 [~*Astarte*~]: Kitty - I don't know how it got into the toilet. I work on 11 acres of redwooded forest (my office is like a little hobbit house) - and the toilet is in a cottage next to my office. I really don't know how it managed to get into there... It was scared - I could sense its feelings, and so it took a bit to get it out. The first time I walked in, it slipped back into the water part where I couldn't reach it. The second time I walked in, it slipped into the same spot, and I just stood there wondering how long it could hold its breath. I realized I would need to be creative so... went to look for a plastic spoon to try to reach it without harming it. I couldn't find a plastic spoon, but did find a couple of plastic sandwich bags... When I came back, it was resting on the side of the bowl with its *long* legs floating in the water, looking very tired. I slowly reached in the bowl - it didn't move until I tried to pick it up - it hopped up to the rim, I covered the water hole with one hand, opened the remaining plastic bag with the other, and it hopped into the bag. I ran down to the creek to let it go... Master/Miss Froggy now has a new home in the sweet creek next to an outdoor tea house. ^_^ Yeah, I love animals.

2006-08-20 [~*Astarte*~]: I agree, ZZ, there isn't anything natural about how the chickens RD was talking about were/are raised. Very sad... :(

2006-08-20 [kittykittykitty]: [~*Astarte*~] <3 for saving the froggy :) If only more animals could sense when a human has no intention of harming them, situations like that would be much easier to deal with...

2006-08-21 [zoloftzantac]: *sigh* If only less people would hurt animals then they wouldn't have to worry about sensing intentions ...

2006-08-21 [kittykittykitty]: That is true... I can always hope that it will happen in my lifetime.

We have been at war with the other creatures of this earth ever since the first human hunter set forth with spear into the primeval forest. Human imperialism has everywhere enslaved, oppressed, murdered, and mutilated the animal peoples. All around us lie the slave camps we have built for our fellow creatures, factory farms and vivisection laboratories, Dachaus and Buchenwalds for the conquered species. We slaughter animals for our food, force them to perform silly tricks for our delectation, gun them down and stick hooks in them in the name of sport. We have torn up the wild places where once they made their homes. Speciesism is more deeply entrenched within us even than sexism, and that is deep enough.
--Ron Lee

2006-08-21 [zoloftzantac]: Yeah, it is a sad story. Maybe some virus will wipe almost everyone out and then the rest of us can go grow organic rice and soybeans someplace nice :D

2006-08-22 [kittykittykitty]: That will be nice ^________________^ As long as the virus doesn't get to us too x_x

I saved some insects today :D Two ants, a woodlouse-thing, a really smaaaal buggy and a caterpillar. They were drowning in some water because they were living on the blackberries my mother picked x_x So I put them in the garden and I think they are happy now :D

2006-08-22 [zoloftzantac]: Drowning is very scary :(

2006-08-23 [thrionrichter]: when the imperial tides reflow the northern seas the need for factory farming and commercial propergation of flsh will start to lessen. then numbers of the human arrogant parasite will eb wiped form the earth and utilised to refertilise and re plant the great forests that we once claimed our own. tho there will eb need of meat there iwll not be need of vast factories of meat. anyway freerange etc tastes better and doesnt help screw up your insides.

keep on lovin

2006-08-23 [thrionrichter]: selective breeding of humans as well as the animals.

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: i think people should selectively breed...

<img200*0:http://www.elfpack.com/stuff/12.JPG>
fucking fatass worthless chickens...(it's wet if you were wondering)

and i killed some animals today...a snake, a bat, 2 birds, and god-knows how many bugs.
i felt bad about the bat because they look cool.

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: uhhh .. so why did you kill them? :(

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: snake was crossing the road and just asking to get squished, so i helped it along a little...the bat was it's own damn fault, it few into my bat (as in baseball) and i was like, "whoa"...the birds were just because i needed to shoot something and better them than a family member...and the bugs because they are bastards and bugging me

2006-08-28 [~*Astarte*~]: Reading the above makes my heart sad and my stomach sick... time to log off EP

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: ,v_V

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: i have that effect on people... ^_^ i don't feel bad. they are just animals. they don't have souls.

2006-08-28 [L V F]: Rainedrop no offence but have u ever considered counsling? Honestly u had no reason to kill those animals. u wanna shoot something id rather have u shoot urself than a defensless animal

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: "they don't have souls"

... and what good is your "soul" doing you if it doesn't help you to be good?

Do you think God is happy when you destroy his creations for no reason?

Your ego and lack of humility before nature staggers me. I can think of nothing more ugly then the senseless murder of the innocent .... :(

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: i'll shoot myself next time then.. ;) just for you. though i doubt the bb gun will do much to me.

killing animals aint "bad" so my soul is happy-dandy-candy.
the birds are barn swallows and are pests that needed to be killed one way or another. it was either a quick death or a slow death by posion...
the snake was in the road and it was gunna die anyways.
the bat flew into my backswing as i was batting apples in the orchard.
and who cares about bugs? the damn bat kills more bugs a day than i do. that EVIL little bat....

innocent? that is personification of an animal. animals cannot be "innocent" any more than they can be "evil"… they lack a soul, they lack a conscience, they lack to morality you seem to tag on to such things as killing....
morality...that is a FUNNY thing coming from YOU.

2006-08-28 [L V F]: Wrong animals have souls they feel pain they are more human then u appear to be. God almost makes me wanna come out of retirement.

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: prove to me that an animal has a soul...if feeling pain means you have a soul than it sucks for those souless quadriplegic people....
i am human, but i'm also a creature that eats meat...yum. i'm evil, like those animals that kill and eat each other....SO EVIL!

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: Question my morality do you? It is mearly differant from yours, and it is stronger than you know. Do not make the mistake of thinking that just because I don't believe there is anything wrong with consenting sex between adults means that I don't have any sense of morality.

If you kill a snake to eat it and I'll never question you, but that isn't what we are talking about here, is it?

You destroy lives because you were bored or angry and then you justify it with your ego, and I am bothered by that.

You like to think you are so much better than the animals that their lives have less value then your entertainment.

When you kill defenseless animals with anger in your heart does it make you feel closer to God?

Is that something Jesus would do?

What do you think your priest would say about that?

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]: i would not know, i have never spoken to a priest.
and yes, i DO question your morality, a lot and very often.
would you have prefered i let the snake die as the cars passed? it was already hurt, it would have died slowly if i just moved it out of the road and it would have died messily if i left it where it was. lets call it a mercy kill and leave it at that.
no, i do not think Humans (or myself) better than animals. i think we ARE animals. hairless apes really. Animals kill each other, Humans kill each other, Humans kill animals, animals kill people. that's life.
i love it when people try to use religion as a weapon. "what would jesus do" is a way of attacking someone through their beliefs. it is not only childish, but it is wrong. if i weren't so secure in myself i would be offended.

2006-08-28 [RabidSphinx]:
You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.
You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.
We are all part of the same compost heap.
We are the all singing, all dancing, crap of the world.

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: Your quote from Fight Club is hardly in tune with the Christian concept of a soul ...

Some people need to be offended, besides, it is a valid question. I don't picture Jesus boasting about going off and killing things out of anger because he wanted to kill his parents. I am suggesting that instead of boasting about such behavior, that maybe you should reconsider it in the first place.

Religion isn't a weapon of mine, you brought up religion when you started talking about "souls". You were trying to use religion as a shield, I am only trying to show how that defense isn't very consistant.

By the way, your definition of a soul is someting I don't even believe in. Still, I am attempting to have a conversation with you based in your frame of referance instead of just invalidaing your whole concept of reality.

2006-08-28 [L V F]: I just wanna say for the record im Wiccan. Im very much against killing animals for sport. so rainedrop like i said see a shrink. till u do im out of this wiki.

2006-08-28 [zoloftzantac]: huh? You are leaving the wiki because of this? The whole point of this wiki is to give people who don't agree with each other a chance to talk to each other.

Maybe we could all benifit from some therapy, but the way you say [RabidSphinx] should see a shrink is invlidating her point of view. Her opinions on this subject don't make her some sicko to be ignored. Actually many people share her point of view and even more of them care nothing for Wicca.

I encourage you to stay and talk about why you are so against killing animals for sport while not attacking or invalidating anyone elses point of view.

It is actually a good thing that we are all so differant, and there are things that each of us can learn from the other.

2006-08-29 [RabidSphinx]: i never said i was angry when i killed shit. you clearly are reading too deeply into my actions. ;) besided, Jesus is a perfect man. i'm not perfect and i most certainly am not a man. ^_^

2006-08-29 [RabidSphinx]: it is silly to leave a place just because you don't a gree with someone or you are offended by them. if i did that every time i was offended or disagreed with someone, i would never stay anywhere for long.
yeah, i hate wiccans in general, yeah i support hunting for sport, deal with that and get over it. i'm not crying in my jello because you think i'm a sicko for killing animals.

2006-08-29 [zoloftzantac]: "the birds were just because i needed to shoot something and better them than a family member"

I took this to mean you were angry ...

2006-08-29 [RabidSphinx]: nope. not angry. :)

2006-08-29 [~*Astarte*~]: For what it's worth... I didn't log off this morning because I didn't feel like hearing/reading someone else's opinion about something - I logged off because reading what was posted really did make my stomach sick and my heart sad. Most people who know me would say I'm quite tolerant, flexible, willing to listen, support, etc. I'm really struggling here though with what I'm reading... That doesn't mean I'm leaving, or that I'm not willing to hear others' points of view... I guess it just means *sigh*

2006-08-29 [zoloftzantac]: RD is angry :p

2006-08-29 [~*Astarte*~]: RD's anger justifies the cruelty towards animals? Seriously, J? I must be misunderstanding something here... maybe it's just too early in the morning and I haven't had my coffee yet.

2006-08-29 [RabidSphinx]: if it helps any, i like animals more than i do people...well, except for pigs...i hate pigs more than people

2006-08-30 [~*Astarte*~]: Why do you have such a strong dislike for people and animals?

2006-08-30 [zoloftzantac]: My last coment was a referance to RD is angry, not a justification.

2006-08-30 [~*Astarte*~]: My apology - I misunderstood - and had not yet had my coffee...

2006-08-30 [RabidSphinx]: RD is always angry. and she hates people and animals too only a lttle less. she can't explain it to you why really

2006-09-07 [HowlofDoom]: It's understandable RD

2006-09-07 [RabidSphinx]: Let them eat cake

2006-09-10 [Chuck Norris]: I give hate a swift roundhouse kick to the face.

2006-09-10 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: WHOO, CHUCK NORRIS! *jumps on him* TAKE ME NOW.

2006-09-11 [L V F]: wow. wish i could get gals like that.

2006-09-11 [RabidSphinx]: fucking chuck norris...
(quote from DodgeBall)

2006-09-12 [Raiyr]: XD A funny movie ^_^

2006-09-12 [RabidSphinx]: i loved it...that and Waiting

2006-09-12 [Raiyr]: Me too :D I haven't seen Waiting. What genre is it?

2006-09-12 [RabidSphinx]: comedy...funny as hell...has Dane Cook in it

2006-09-12 [Raiyr]: Hmm, I shall have to check it out! :D

2006-09-12 [RabidSphinx]: i'm like Niomie...lol

2006-09-13 [RabidSphinx]: Each year there are approximately 4 million births in the U.S. and 2.4 million deaths

2006-09-15 [zoloftzantac]: I think I have lost track of welcoming some of the newest members, sorry about that. Welcome to [FireGypsy] and [SnazzyChazzy]! Please remember to play nice and be respectful of other and you will always be welcome here.

2006-09-15 [Bookwyrm]: Meh...I've lost track myself...T__T ::is a bad member::

2006-09-15 [RabidSphinx]: i just don't pay attention

by 2010 1 in 5 children will be obese

2006-09-16 [zoloftzantac]: *buys stock in plus sized childern's clothing stores*

2006-09-16 [Bookwyrm]: XD That's cold...

2006-09-16 [RabidSphinx]: but a good idea...*does the same*

2006-09-16 [kittykittykitty]: Hahahaha XD And if something is actually done about the obesity 'epidemic' you can still sell them to clowns XD

2006-09-16 [~*Astarte*~]: As the mom of a boy who is overweight because of medical circumstances beyond his control, I find myself deeply saddened by the remarks on this page. The judgmental attitudes about others leaves me speechless. Walk one day in this little boy's shoes to have an idea of what the cruel, heartless remarks stemming from ignorance can do.

2006-09-16 [RabidSphinx]: oh bite me. *I* have a medical condition that makes me gain weight in ways that are "out of my control"...i'm one of those people with a "thyroid condition" that people are always using as an excuse for being overweight....forgive me if i find that excuse as BS.
yes, there are a FEW poor poor people out there that are fat and it's "not their fault" just like there are a few people out there with AIDS that were raped or something so don't deserve the disease, but i'm not about to amend myself or my opinions to such a SMALL percentage of an exception to the rule.
oh, and here is a quote you will like:
"when it comes to obesity in anyone, particularly children, genetics may load the gun, but environment pulls the trigger."

2006-09-17 [catelf]: I have to disagree. Personally, I am naturally slightly underweight, regardless of what I eat, and if I skim a meal or two I begin to look starved. Since nothing I do changes this, I assume it must be genetic. And if I'm naturally underweight (but healthy), there must be people who are naturally overweight but healthy as well.

2006-09-18 [zoloftzantac]: oh boy ... [~*Astarte*~] does have a boy with a number of very serious medical issues. I do not want to see this disscussion go into a finger pointing issue around that

[RabidSphinx]: Yes you have made great progress battling your condition, but you have had to do more than I think most sane people would be capable of. You starve yourself to get where you are and you are still quite miserable, I'm not sure I would start counting you among the success stories just yet ...

There is a growing trend of growing waistlines in the US. I know of a young medical supply company that is specializing in making plus sized exam tables, operating tables, toilets, etc because their is a rapidly growing need for them. If I buy stock in that company it is in no way a knock at anyone.

I am sorry if my comments offended anyone.

2006-09-18 [RabidSphinx]: i do not starve myself...i restrict...there is a differance. sometimes i eat twice a day!

fat people bother me...>_<

2006-09-23 [catelf]: You say that as though eating twice a day is a lot.

2006-09-23 [RabidSphinx]: it is

2006-09-25 [BlindGuardian]: I know I missed a lot here but still... I hope nobody here meant that, unless you're raped, you deserve to have AIDS.

And on the weight subject, I too have a natural tendence to be underweight. Proof of this is that only one month after a pregnancy in which I gained 20kg I'm already back in my original weight. I guess there must be many more like me out there...

2006-09-25 [RabidSphinx]: that IS what i meant, yes. unless you were raped and therefore not in control, you deserve what you get. oh, and i guess you could include being born with that, though that is not *too* common in america, i suppose it still happens. than i adopt the attitude of "sucks to be them"

my mum lost all her baby weight after her first baby within a month. now she is a cow of a woman. babyweight has nothing to do with

2006-09-26 [kittykittykitty]: Wow. That really seems a heartless thing to say. Nobody 'deserves' such a disease in my opinion.

2006-09-26 [RabidSphinx]: immoral and disgusting americans certainly deserve it in my opinion.

2006-09-26 [kittykittykitty]: If a person is unfortunate enough to choose the wrong partner you think they deserve that? If some malicious person keeps information from them or maybe doesn't know they are ill and transmits the disease to an unknowing lover you think they 'deserve it'? Everybody makes mistakes. Some have greater consequences for the unfortunate, and I don't know to what extent a person's 'immorality' would be to deserve such a thing.

I assume by 'disgusting' you mean people who have casual sex? Or even people who have sex at all? I have seen you on other wikis express a distaste for them, but it doesn't mean they are bad people -_-

2006-09-26 [RabidSphinx]: yup. i believe they do. you don't get AIDS form living a moral life.
if some "malicious person" they deserve it for their poor character judgement and stupididty. honestly, if you are willing to have sex with someone and NOT know THAT much about them, you deserve the diseases you catch.

that would be YOUR opinion that they are not "bad people"
i beg to differ.

2006-09-26 [zoloftzantac]: What is your big hang up around sex. There is nothing wrong with enjoying your body.

2006-09-26 [zoloftzantac]: oh! and welcome to [robo_nay_is_hxc], our newest member! Please remember to play nice and be respectful to others here.

2006-10-04 [RabidSphinx]: nothing wrong with enjoying one's body, but not when that joy comes with concequences of STDs AIDS and Abortions.

2006-10-04 [zoloftzantac]: so use a condom

2006-10-04 [RabidSphinx]: they don't work, otherwise no one would ever get pregnent when they don't want to, or get AIDS, or an STD, and 70% of people don't use them properly anyways...oh, and I'M NOT A DIRTLY SLUT WHORE and sleep wth people like some lower-thinking mindless cattle....still, at least they fuck to reproduce

2006-10-05 [zoloftzantac]: They actually work really well, but you are right, most people don't use them, and then many people use them incorrectly.

Having sex doesn't make one dirty, or a slut or a whore. Cattle don't have sex to make babies, they don't have enough brains to think that far ahead. They do it because like to do it. That is nature! There is nothing wrong with it.

So what if people have brains and can understand that their desire to have sex is designed to get them to reproduce? That doesn't mean that we have to deny ourselves that which we may want.

You always get back to pregnancy, STDs and AIDS, but I don't believe you. Some how I get the idea that you would also think a gal who masterbates is dirty or a whore or something.

2006-10-05 [RabidSphinx]: she is. and fuck you and this topic. you can go to hell....oh,, wait, you already are.
perverted slut you are and all.

2006-10-06 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: at least it is warm there
